Papers are used in day to day life whether it is a home, business or other. Sometimes there are a massive set of papers that are difficult to manage and maintain them for a long time. Initially, there were no machines that can help out keep papers together. Now there are binding machines that facilitate to bind the papers together like a book.

Binding machines attach papers collectively as a report. One can set different margins for the papers according to the need. People in general set 8.5 to 11 inches as a margin for the papers. Binding machines come in a wide variety such as comb binding machine, wire binding machine, thermal binding machines, calendar binding and many others. There are certain instructions that can be helpful while using a binding machine.

Directions to use a binding machine

  1. Firstly, turn on the binding machines. Once the machine is turned on place the comb on the crest of the teeth. At this point, one needs to select the comb size according to the length and width of the documents. There are various sizes of binding combs ranging from 1/8 inch to 5 inches.
  2. Now put the binding comb on the teeth opener at the uppermost side. Now rotate the crank towards the front so that the comb can be opened. Once the binding comb is wide open, place the cut papers into the comb, until the rest of the papers are cut down.
  3. Now place the paper into the cutting slot and wash out towards the left side of the ruler. Line the papers properly and press them in the machine so that precision is maintained. Now the electronic cutter will come down and punch down several holes on the paper as per the need.
  4. At this point, line up the papers according to the holes against the binder comb on them properly. Repeat the process, until the documents are completed. Once the documents are bind properly pull them off the binding machine.

The binding machines are easy to use and user-friendly. Moreover, the binding machines are lightweight and compact and so can be handled with ease. Majority of binding machines can be used for office as well as for homes.
